the only way they can get the GOP nomination is to pander to the right wing climate deniers.

The Republican stance: don't bother me with that scientificy stuff. I'll just go with whatever way the political wind is blowing, despite what I may have said in the past.

I expect to start seeing photos of Republicans wearing helmets for fear of floating up into the ceiling once they decide gravity is just another scientific hoax. Be careful of falling off the edge of the world Republicans, because the round Earth is just a theory.

Climate Change. Otherwise known as lazy copy and paste mainscream journalism at it's very best, er worst! Even the scientists don't believe in climate doom from SUV gas anymore, judging by their stunned silence after Obama never even mentioned the crisis in his state of the union speech and more stunned silence from the scientists when all American IPCC research funding was pulled. Now, only the "journalists" act like its an emergency. If any of you readers still believe in climate doom, at least act like it’ s the emergency they said it was and get a sign that says YOUR CHILDREN ARE DOOMED, REPENT, THE END IS NEAR and start marching with all the other freaks that history laughs at. But we can count on lazy media to milk the CO2 blunder for another 25 years of scaring the kids but even the kids are laughing at climate blame now. Climate change has done to journalism, science. progressivism and human evolvement, what nasty priests and suicide bombers did for established religion. Meanwhile, carbon trading and carbon markets and carbon mitigation have come at the expense of 3rd world fresh water relief, starvation rescue and 3rd world education and population control for just over 25 years of climate crisis warnings and countless billions wasted on what could have relieved so much poverty, suffering and injustice in our society. Climate change truly is modern day omen worship and witch burning as history is already calling it.

Governor Christie, by publicly stating that he believes that climate change is real, a threat, and man-made, has effectively cut himself off from any thoughts of being a Republican candidate for President.

So-called "climate change" - and this article - are both loads of crock. The burden of proof is on the believers not the deniers, and those believers have failed to carry their burden with many respected scientists and climate experts, who aren't convinced by all the conjecture and Chicken Little hysteria surrounding "global warming" and "climate change". Even the change in labeling from GW to CC is laughable... as is the premise of this article, which is that some Repub candidates, under political pressure, have changed their positions on the climate change issue. Maybe Gingrich has, but the others still stand where they always have: they support environmental protection and the reasonable reduction of carbon emissions (as I do), but it doesn't mean they swallow the climate change cool-aid hook, line, and sinker. This article's slippery author conveniently fails to mention this inconvenient truth.
