I'll never forget jumping for absolute joy when he hit #500 & 501. He made watching baseball as a kid great. I wonder if anyone is doing the same for kids these days. Thanks Harmon.

What a beautiful tribute to Harmon. How embarrassing if you are from the Minneapolis area and are not at Target Field for this tribute. My heart is there from 300 miles away!! God speed Harmon....

Enjoyed the tribute to Harmon. Jim Kaat is so good....and the unmistakable strong chin of Mudcat, the tight lipped determined look of Carew, and the flashback I experienced seeing the profile of an Oliva son............ My final respects for a boyhood hero: It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God sent you home.

Amazing service. So good to see so many legends, family members, and fans paying tribute. Wish more of the current players had been there tonight. Matt Tolbert gets mega props in my book for being there even though he wasn't involved in the service.

Such good memories. Listening to the Twins on the radio growing up. They don't make many like Harmon any more.

Where are all the fans? Sorry Harmon for the weak turnout.

listening to all the twins greats tell stories is something else to be a fly on the wall where they are all going after the program would be something else. Also the words Killebrew said about Thome aren't we glad he's a Twin.

Harmon was all-natural. No juice for him... what a great role model =) We have a few good young athletes now, but too many are not honest or respectful. Thanks for showing us the path Harmon. God speed.

"Where are all the fans? Sorry Harmon for the weak turnout." What, 4,000 people isn't enough for you?

Looks like Billy Smith and Twins management found a way to screw even this up. This should have been scheduled on a game night and made this a pre-game event. Would have had a MUCH larger crowd befitting of Mr. Killebrew. Batting/Field practice could have been moved to the morning. Sorry Mr. Killebrew.
