Can't for the life of me understand how Taylor can entrust David Kahn to bring him water. Kahn got Beasley and Randolph because their clubs wanted to clear space on their rosters and the Wolves represented the worst team in the Western Conference (versus the Heat and Knicks being in the Eastern Conference). Not only is Kahn incompetent, he is the NBA's poster boy for buffoonery.

sid, the player isn't a flop, it is the guy who drafted him, the GM and the coach. To bad you are too buddy buddy with them to see this.

bandit135...Rambis wasn't hired until August 2009, a few months after the Flynn-Rubio draft.

$23 million a year for a player with weak legs and assorted other ailments and maladies. Even when healthy he's a singles hitter with a slugger's paycheck.

The NBA itself is a flop. It has degenerated to 'junk sport' such as arena football and indoor lacrosse. No more than 'sports entertainment' ala WWE. Little guy brings ball up the court- passes to the big guy who dunks the ball and hangs on the rim for 15 seconds for ESPN's benefit. Make it a permanent lock out.

Sid. Letting Rambis dangle in the wind like this is not only wrong, it's stupid. If Taylor and Kahn man want to let the guy go—then they should do it. Man up. Show leadership. It's discouraging to the fans who've invested so much emotional equity in this team.

I'm already dreading the return of Coach McHale and an empthatic drubbing of the hometown team.

I couldn't care less if the Timberwolves were locked out until they could at least have a measly .500 season in NBA scrimmages...

With Matt Frattin now a pro, Mario would have been a perfect fit at ND. ND can handle one-and-done's. or Denver. Or Boston. Or Michigan. Maybe WI. No doubt UMD and Omaha would love to have a player like this for a year. Rebuilding teams probably need a longer commitment. Apparently he's going where he feels the most love. Good decision though. Better than being a flop on a non-contender.
