Get something for Cuddyer and Slowey now!

Good grief. Kubel takes strike 3 with the tying run at third and one out in the 9th. What's really unbelievable is that he actually took strikes 3, 4, and 5! Guess he was scared to swing the bat and was praying that somehow he'd be the 4th walk in a row.

Tough loss, but tip your cap to Peterson. He threw some clutch pitches. If Morny's ball sneaks through we get the win.I don't believe in moral victories, but for one of the first times this year the Twins actually truly kept battling.

If the Twins keep putting up offense like that, we will not see another 9-game losing streak

This was truly a blown opportunity. A 4 game winning streak and gaininga game on the Sox and Tigers was there for the taking. Once again the Twins snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. With Cuddyer being a free agent next year and Slowey still retaining marginal value, I agree with the poster: time to trade. 13 games under .500, even in the AL Centrl the Twins are not going to postseason.

Should've unloaded Slowey in ST. Now, they should certainly unload guys like Cuddy, Slowey, and Pavano before the deadline. They do us no good at this point. Not one of them. Not now and not in the future. Start bringing in some capable youth for seasons to come via trades. Hell, eat Nathan's salary and trade him just to get a prospect of any sort.

yeah, that Kubel and his striking out looking! Man, he used to do that all the time. Last year he seemed to avoid it, if he was gonna strike out he would do it swinging. But tonight, with one out and the bases loaded and the ninth inning. That was unacceptable! That is a mistake of a minor leaguer!

Yes! A moral victory! How good does THAT feel?
