Does anyone else find this a coincidence for #3? 3 hits by Twins and the M's, 2 runs for the Twins & 1 by the M's equals #3. What a way to have more meaning for #3. RIP Harmon you're a class act!

At first I agreed with Dick and Bert on the force call at second base in the ninth when they said the Twins got a huge break - then a super slo-mo replay on the MLB Network showed he was out.

Perkins? How about giving him a starting spot or making him the closer? There's not much to cheer about on this team, but among the pitchers, Perkins seems to be both effective and consistent.

When Repko is ready to come back, trade Delmon to the Nats to get Ramos back. Repko can hold down LF until Joe can learn to take it over. There will be days when we could put Repko/Span/Revere in the OF together. Way fast!

At least I saw all the Twins runs last night...still would've liked to have seen more when I woke up today. A win is a win...

The only major league team with a worst team batting average than the Twins is the Mariners. Not exactly what I would call a pitching gem considering that stat.

Gardenhire may have his faults but one thing is certain, his love for the Minnesota Twins is as strong as even their most loyal fans.

Reason #327 why I can't stand Gardenhire: Perkins was cruising; he threw 9 pitches, 8 of which were strikes! So WHY TAKE HIM OUT and replace him with the God-awful Capps, in a 1-run game?? WHY???! Gardy was lucky this time but it was a strategy wrought with risk (and inexplicable stupidity).

Major league teams are so ingrained that one person has to be the "closer"and regardless of how the pitcher in the game at the end of 8 innings, the designated "closer" always gets the 9th. Sometimes it makes no sense, but I don't see it changing anytime soon. Just like the God awful pitch count.
