My heart sinks further just reading this story. I take a little joy in knowing Harmon knew about the return of outdoor baseball to Minnesota, that he took part in the opening day ceremonies of Target Field and that he was touched by all the communication from the hundreds of Twin's fans in his final days. I could say God Bless Harmon Killebrew, but we all know that God bestowed his blessings on him a long time ago and blessed us by putting him in a Twin's uniform. RIP, #3.

Passing of a legend and an era. Baseball at the old Met Stadium was about baseball. No frills and entertainment venue. People came for the game. Now everything has to be all glammed up. Sad. Thanks for the memories H.K.
