Robbinsdale schools are getting kids to use leg power

A Brooklyn Center school has launched a program to get kids walking and biking. Five schools in the Robbinsdale district are also taking part.

It's just like the old days when I had to walked to school. That's great to see other districts get on board. MPS have been doing this for the last two years now. It also helps to cut down on transportation costs as well.

back when I went to new hope elementary we always had 20+ bikes parked there , of course that was before we had parents that could not see their kids walking to school so they drop and pick them up , and the fact that we have so many wackos out there after these kids , it is good to see though

I remember being told that I was not allowed to skateboard to school by a teacher. Times have changed and no, I didn't listen.
