Riding your bike and buying organic groceries doesn't make you a hipster. Imagining that these activities somehow makes you cool (which, we know, is not your intent) may make you feel like a hipster. To be a true hipster, you have to mindlessly follow a narrow trend that thousands of others are following while feigning ignorance that such a trend even exists.

Minneapolis hipsters, a hotbed of unoriginal thinking.

'hipster' taste in beer is atrocious .... usta be Rolling Rock and now PR. Especially in Oregon's craft beer capitol of the world, you'd expect folks to drink stuff a few more steps above Bud and Miller. I'd also think the hipster index should reflect the wearing of all those pork-pie type hats you see *everywhere*. (well, at least the insipid backwards baseball cap "fashion" has been somewhat contained)

PBR is the kicker. You know nothing of beer if that is your choice. May as well drink Mich Golden or any other American lager. They are all the same. PBR Corp. must love these idiots.

Hey, I like my pork pie hat! I didn't realize I was part of a trend though--I've been wearing pork pies and fedoras for over 25 years. Yes, I'm an old fart. I guess that automatically excludes me from the hipster class.

I love how so called "non conformists" and hipsters who don't follow the social norms all dress the same and do the same things.......in other words, they conform to being a hipster. Little bit of irony there....

There are the good hipster things (caring about food, riding bikes) then the really dumb ones. As long as MN is top for the good ones, then hurray.

You know what bothers me? Referencing something said on a television shows as a form of humor.

Let's not forget the tattoos that hipsters favor.
