Twins' one-man show goes nowhere

Wednesday's loss by baseball's worst team was the most recent example of a wasted effort by the Twins' lone hot hitter, Jason Kubel.

Every aspect of the Twin's play is horrendous. Hitting and pitching are in perfect sync to produce maximum number of losses. A good pitching performance goes with a pathetic offensive showing, and just when the bats come to life the pitching goes south. This team is headed for 100+ losses this year. And the Mauer contract will doom this franchise for years to come. Get ready for 5 years in the wilderness Twins fans...

We got a little sunshine today. Not that it will change but we scored some runs.

Twins have a $112 Million payroll versus Cleveland's $48 million. (http://espn.go.com/mlb/team/salaries/_/name/min/minnesota-twins) At least the fans get to "enjoy" paying exceptionally high ticket and food prices now for this team!! Why are there so many empty seats already?

History would suggest this team is finished for the year. I look for Cleveland and Kansas City to come back to earth, but I would put my money on Detroit winning the division.

it is no longer early in the season. this is just a decent triple a team playing in the majors. i know injuries don't help but these guys are just not making the plays when needed healthy or not. i am not jumping off the bandwagon but we need to think of the future and move Morneau, Young, Kubel, Cuddyer, Liriano, Capps and Pavano now that they have some value
