Nice try isn't enough for Twins

With a limited roster, Ron Gardenhire did what he could to generate a needed run, but it went for naught in an 11-inning loss.

Awful. The Twins need to have shutouts just to win the game. Sad, sad, sad. Not much to cheer about this summer.

It is time for Hoey to go back to the minors, this kid can't seem to get anybody out, and it always ends up being a disaster.

Anyone hear of Joe Mauer's new girlfriend? Yes, her name is Disabled list. She has really, really gotten to know him and of course she love's what she sees. Yes, she admits he's as dull as a fencepost, but how can she deny 184 million?! She's fully aware that there's nothing wrong with him, but she is just smitten that he's willing to spend all of his time with her. She even admits she's experiencing a little bilateral leg weakness herself. Actually, she doesn't know what that is but learned from her new man that it's a great excuse to skip work. She realizes big bad Joe is embarrassing himself, his teamates, and the state of Minnesota, but she knows, no matter what, he will always love the Disabled List.

Thanks Twins for ruining my summer...what a total disappointment. It is very hard to sit and watch this team fall apart game after game. I don't even look forward to watching anymore.

My friends complain because there is nothing on TV except reruns in the summer. I always laugh and say they should be Twins fans, because you can watch baseball almost every night from April until October. If I am not at a game, or listening to a game, I am watching a game. Or I guess I should say, that has what I have been doing for years. These games are boring and painful to watch. Thanks a lot Twins for taking away my favorite summer pastime.

You all can complain and moan all you want but actually watching the game, that was a good game to watch. Yes they lost but both teams played a good game. I enjoy good baseball, win or lose, twins or not.

We tied the game in the late innings with Kubel's RBI. It looks like we might be going into extra innings. Gardenhire takes out out best batter for a pinch runner??? Bad managing. He needs to be FIRERED!!!!!
