I use my phone to speak to people who are far away. Umm...and to tell me what time it is. That's all I want it to do for me, I have all other functions disabled.

I can understand why this is being done. People have worried about Wal-Mart and Standard Oil taking over the world. Look out for Google and Facebook. We don't think twice about using them and posting everything about our lives on the computer. Do you think that info is deleted? They use it, keep it. They know more about you than you think. Wal-Mart just offers lower prices on food. How dangerous is that?

There is no right to privacy in America; it is that simple. I was educated to that undeniable fact laast week as I watched the Minnesota state legiglature on tv. A little conservative fellow from the suburbs told everybody that privacy is a creation of judicial activism and his bill was part of a conservative strategy to get his issue on privacy before a high court so everything about this "fake right" could be rectified. And oh yeah, then conservatives could stop people from killing all of the babies.

When you download an app it tells you what info will be retrieved and used from your phone. If you don't want the your info known, don't download the app.

I'm unemployed. I though Al was going to "fight" for me. This isn't what I thought he meant by "fighting".

Stuart....If we don't like what the smart phone does we just won't buy it. Now get focused on something important like out of control government spending, debt, private sector job creation, repeal of ObamaCare... wars in Libya, Pakistan, Iraq, Afganistan, Serbia, Korea

I was all excited when Franken trounced Coleman and coleman's 4 times refinanced mortgage, but as soon as he got in the Senate he went to afghanistan and came back with this- "Golly gee, things are looking pretty positive over there!" At that point Wellstone could be heard from his coffin coughin' out a garbled "cough-cough-bullshizt!" MAybe the psy-ops worked on Al, maybe he supports useless wars that drain resources from our own people. I don't know. But this cellphone privacy is a good thing.
