the babying attitude continues. What a surprise. What if he gets hurt? Well, our team takes this extra-cautious approach and half the team is on the D.L.

I was listening to the post game show on the radio side and they were saying how Gardenhire had to deal with 5 minor league players in the line up today and thats why they only had three hits? That is good in theory but if I remember correctly last year they had their "A" line up when they were playing at Boston and it did not make a difference. It just seems like there is a mental "hurdle" that Gardenhire managed teams have a hard time getting over. Playing the Yankees, playing the Red Sox at Fenway and winning in the playoffs period. I love the Twins but I just think Gardenhire has too many flaws to lead them to the World Series. I hope he proves me wrong as I will be following and hoping that they can get this turned around.

3.16 runs per game? It seems like less.

This anemic offense lies squarely on the shoulders of Mauer, Morneau and Young (oh and Cuddyer sucks). I am still trying to comprehend how world class athletes can report to camp not be ready to do their jobs. You don't see the teams from the east babying their players. If Toronto or even Baltimore played in the Central division they would walk all over this team. The blame ultimately lands on Smith and Gardenhire. Smith has made terrible moves and let the minor league system go to hell, and Gardenhires coddling of these well paid athletes is disgusting.

The 2010 AL MOY selection committee just did a collective *facepalm*. I think I heard a "Doh" in there too.
