Aided by the NFL lockout, the defensive end says he's done with the Vikings and aiming for a heavyweight boxing title.

What a crock. He can't get to the opposing QB but thinks he can beat someone who is 5'9". Professional boxing is dead, just like Ray's football career.

I wish the guy would try as hard to be a top class defensive end. Six years in the league and he has yet to have a 10 sack season, playing on a D line that has two other guys who routinely have double teams and pass protection rolled to their side.

A la "Too Tall" Jones. Good luck, Ray.

Robison has way more upside than Edwards, take away his one decent season and his numbers look very bad!! Hey Ray, how come nobody will give up a first rounder for you? The truth is the more you talk, the more other teams lose interest in you!! I'll bet you $2.8 million that you not only come back to the Vikings, but you come back as Robison's back up!! Go Vikes!!

I get the sense Ray can be a bit of a cancer. He just runs that mouth. Even when he got drafted lower than he thought he should have, he just ran the mouth. Please sign somewhere else, in the short amount that Robison played, he rushed the QB more and seemed to be better on run support. I know Ray is pretty good but for the money he thinks he worth, peace.

Wladimir Klitschko would destroy Ray Edwards, I appreciate Ray's confidence but the match wouldn't go three rounds.

isn't this the same guy who said he was going to beat michael strahans single season sack record of 22? yeah almost ray you had 5. now he thinks he's a better boxer than both the klitschko brothers and he hasn't even fought anyone yet. wow this guy is dillusional.

ditto on Klitschko destroying Edwards. Anyways, that match up will never happen. Edwards will never make it that far no matter how good he thinks he is.

You people are funny. Ray Edwards is on of the top five LDE's against the run in the league and his run responsibility is the main reason he doesn't get more sacks. You folks need to pay attention to the game and stop listening to Paul Allen, Mike Max and Joe Anderson!
