Even in a win, Twins manager has to shake head

Ron Gardenhire knows his team, without many big bats, can't make up for its poor start if it keeps repeating Wednesday's mistakes.

They are beating up the white sox like they usually do but how about going into Boston and taking three out of four from them? Probably not going to happen but this team needs to take a stand and play some good baseball where they usually struggle. Go Twins!

still don't understand why Luke Hughes does not play more. No way Casilla should have been in there vs Danks over Hughes...makes no sense. As expected Casilla went 0 for 4. Good job managing the team and talent Mr. Gardenhire and Mr. Smith..

Good to hear Gardy finally gettin' after his players. Does Casilla and Span have a green light all the time while on base? I would have thought that Gardy's base coaches would shut this kind of behavior down on the base paths. So is this a coaching problem, that they can't keep their players disciplined properly; or the players' for showing poor judgement? Either way, this is not the "Twins Way".

We don't need to fire Gardy or his staff, however, maybe a brief trip to triple A for the entire staff might give them a new insight and a wake up call and help this team. They do it to players all the time, so why not give it a try? Maybe the triple A staff might pump some blood into this team. It's worth a shot, what do you fans think?

Butera hitting .100 Why doesnt this team give Benji Molina a call?

Butera is absolutely the worst hitter I have ever seen in a Twins uniform. Why would anyone be surprised that he hit a harmless popup? You expect a good back-up defensive catcher or anyone in the major league to at least bat .220 or have a little power, like Henry Blanco. A major league player cannot hit .100 - can we use the DH for the catcher, and let the pitcher bat? Please call up someone else to catch, or sign/trade for someone. As for Casilla making another bone-headed play, again, why is this a news? Time for him to go to AAA, and maybe wake up again.

Seriously, how long will it be before we seeing the Twins core players back on the field from the DL ( excluding Nishi )? Cal Ripken Jr must be rolling his eyes.

didn't see game but in looking at box score, how come gardy wasn't upset about his boy getting picked off first in the 9th? just amazing how only certain players get called out regularly and others are untouchable.
