Span steps up, Twins drop back. I appreciate some one standing up, too bad it was followed by an 0 fer 5. Not very Pucket-esqe. But it was great to see Morneau jack one out. That had some authority. But I think this is another example of mgmt failure. The M&M boys were not ready to start the season - everyone admits that now. They should been sent to AAA to get work and strength in. If that required them to start the season on the DL - so be it.

The Twins have a bunch of wussies playing on this team. Get out on the field and play. Gardenhire treats them like a bunch of wussies as well. It is time to turn over this roster and get some guys with some heart and who want to play.

Mikey Cuddyer has turned into just a bigger version of LNP. The Twins mistake was falling in love with him after his 1 above average year and overpaying him (like LNP), and ever since then he's been a player with a little power, plays well in short stretches, but is absolutely brutal in the clutch. With all the lefties the Twins see, he should be much more productive, but the only thing he's mastered is the 6-4-3 ground ball.

Morneau may be struggling to come back, but he has more than twice as many rbis as Gardy's current favorite, Mr. Cuddyer. What's the talkative one's excuse?

No life, this team could easily lose 100 games.

Can it, really. Your complaining is getting way older than their losses.

Morneau is a gifted athlete who suffered a concussion, I'm sure he'd like to be at 100%. Wht's wrong with the current system is that he still makes more money than ten hard working, everyday people.

NoMoreau is a bum and has no heart. Trade him!

Still can't believe with a ultra thin lineup that Gardy would give Cuddyer a day off Sunday with two off days this week on Monday and Thursday. I know Cuddyer isn't swinging well, but after the team meeting on Saturday this totally sent the wrong message to the club. Anyone know why Tosoni passed Revere on the depth chart?

balboan4life Why? Who would want him?? Last time I checked, struggling 1B with a history of injury issues weren't fetching too much in the trade market.
