The lefthander is 1-4 with a 9.13 ERA, and meanwhile, the team is trying to get Kevin Slowey stretched to return as a starter.

Liriano's release point is off. Yeah, I (and anybody who watches any game he pitches) have been noticing that for the last two years or so. Very perceptive of Anderson and Gardenhire to catch that. Also, on the injury report, have you ever seen a more fragile group of grown men in your life?! Marcum pitched a shutout with the flu last night. When our guys get the flu (or an oblique strain, or sore quadriceps, or "bilateral leg weakness") they go on the disabled list. Nice team.

Liriano has all the great tools in the world except for his noggin. Cmon, get over it buddy and throw some strikes, you can do it! Also I heard there is a case of the sniffles going around so we may not be able to field our series against the White Sox...

At this point Liriano's probably a victim of paralysis by analysis. His head's so messed up it might be best to tell him, "Forget what we've said about this, that and the other mechanical thing and just go out and strike 'em all out, stud, any way you want." At this point, it couldn't hurt and it might help. Nothing else has worked.

Liriano's release point is between the ears and that has never been on. They missed their chance to get rid of him for any value last year.

Either send him down to get his head right or release him. He's had 3 yrs since the surgery to get it right and hasn't how much more time will be wasted. Bring up some pitchers that have some fight in them and get on with it.

i tell ya this team is turning into the team of wussies, the other night in a snow storm the opposing team played great, many in shirt sleeves while the twins had hats with ear muffs and standing around with their hands in their pants, maybe time the coach did a little old fashioned butt chewing, or bring up more AAA players that would at lease look like professionals.

Oh boy, that pitching rotation for the series against the pale hose looks daunting. 0-2 Don't see any victories there.

There's more than Liriano's arm that needs a new release point. How about Gardy?
