The Twins overcoming the Black Spruce Curse on Arbor Day? Are you kidding me?

Hard to see how a team can win when the player they tout as a defensive specialist is not only an offensive liability (BA .114) but then manages to make a key error. Any comment Gardy?

Another night of watching the Twins. Another night of disappointment.

How long are the Twins going to keep pretending Alexi Casilla is a major league SS?

50-112 this year...that's where their heading. Feels like the early 80's again, back in the new Dome, terrible baseball, a good 8000-10,000 fans showed up for games. Back in the day, I was at a game where we sat next to Gaylord Perry's wife in the 2nd row above the visitors dug out, great lady, she made Gaylord sign and give my buddy and I a ball. The good ol' days.

Just listened to Gardy's postgame comments on Mlb.com radio. Let's see....poor base running in the middle innings; lack of reading the play in advance as coaches/players during the game; Casilla not making a play (despite a possible (and clever) screen by Betamit (let's throw another player under the bus, Gardy); and a failure to have enough pitching available. No mention of the easily anticipated and thoroughly-botched squueze play when the Twins were ahead 3-1 with runners on first and third with one out. Hey, Gardy, you are TB Mgr. Joe Maddon (sic) light, so quit trying to emulate him. MOY named Gardenhire is a joke. The Twins present problems are a direct result of Gardy and his staff continuously overlooking the little things (conditioning, base running, situational hitting, situatational pitching, pitching inside for effect, and leading a team versus managing a group of youngsters seeking direction and inspiration). Low expectations and coddling have reared their ugly heads. Humor is fine, Gardy, but you're not funny any more.

I'd like to thank Alexi Cassilla for playing this season. Wish him the very best in his next job.

"There are currently no comments". "9 comments."? Ok.. hssssss... hint.. not air going out of dome roof... Well, anyway.. we know the October collapse is not the Yankees - it's that they can't play in cold weather -- and we have signed pitchers whose ball loses life in cold air.
