The Twins showcased their weak pitching in the opener and lack of offense in nightcap.

The displaced black spruce trees are angry...very angry, indeed.

While you can't blame the guy for the performance of our pitchers today, how much longer do we have to put up with Alexi Casilla flailing at the plate. I know we're only a few weeks into the season, but a batting average barely above .170 is not anywhere near acceptable unless the hits you are getting are round-trippers. Call up Plouffe and let him get some seasoning in the big leagues. It's not like he'll cost us games we're already losing.

Nice earflaps, Hughes. Notice Johnny Damon doesn't even have long sleeves on? This Twins team is the biggest flippin' group of pansies I've ever seen in my life. It all starts at the top. Gardy, are you guys still "doing it the Twins way"? What a joke. They all probably want to get off the field quickly tonight so they can watch the royal wedding. The flu, strained oblique muscles, not ready for the season? All this is a bunch of crap when you are paying these players all that dough and when you are charging fans an arm and a leg to come watch. Great new stadium...too bad the team is just a group of overpaid, overhyped, losers.

I thought we'd suffered enough with the awful season of the Wolves, Wild, Gophers, and Vikings. Now, it's just baffling to be a Minnesota Sports fan.

Zobrist had almost as many RBI (8) today as our leader Kubel has all year! (10)

Don't tell me it's early! Exactly what signs are there of the Twins moving in the right direction? Where are there any signs of hope of this team? The pitching? The shortstop? The offense? The overpaid DL players? The coaching?

Capps in the 9th? I guess Gardy has conceded the second game since he used the closer in garbage time? I can't say I'm not making the same assumption, but shouldn't he still manage like he's trying to win even if the players aren't playing like they want to win?

2011 Twins = 2010 Vikings ... brace yourself if you had high expectations (as I mistakenly did) for this tough, gutty collection of Twins. Even if Sally and Suzie got off the DL for their owwies, it wouldn't make a difference. They can't pitch, they can't hit, they make errors, they're soft. We're looking at a very overpaid 74-ish win team.
