Kubel chooses to use the park and not fight it

He'll take the occasional accidental homer at Target Field, but his game-winning double Sunday was plenty.

Morneau's effort to score on Cuddys hit was hilarious- reminded me of beer league softball where everyone wears shorts and only the hard-core idiot would actually slide into the plate

The two attempts to try and score in the 3rd inning were probably 2 of the most knuckelheaded decisions ever made by a 3rd base coach. Sending Casilla with the 3/4/5 batters due up, and only one out has to rank as the most ignorant 3rd base coach decisions in the history of baseball, and then it was topped by sending a guy who missed over 90 games due to a concussion into a potential collision at home plate. If the bozo at 3rd isn't replaced after this, then the Twins have become the kings of incompetence.

Jimgavigs, did you watch the same game I did? Casilla clearly ran through the "bozo's" stop sign. Consequently, blaming Liddle for the miscue is way off the mark.

Montana7676, but don't confuse facts of what we saw with someone else's blurry visioned, double visioned, drunken opinion. One can NOT do this on these comment sections.

Montana;I was watching the game at a restaurant, and only saw the 2 putouts, and no replays etc. of Casilla blowing the stop sign or whatever casued Morneau to try and score,-my apologies to all for jumping to conclusions, based on the two plays I saw.

If the Twins can keep around 500 until the stars get back at full strength, we have a chance in August and September. A comeback win like today's is huge.

Nice win. This team will be fine. Another great summer of ball lies ahead.

Win against central division is easy, look at the way Chicago is playing. Dont get to excited the Twins will play just good enough to Win the Division , only to fold when Post season comes around.

Was at the game, sitting first row at 1st base, and I didnt notice Liddle giving the stop to either Casilla or Morneau. Where the fault should fall to is both players deciding NOT to slide. Choo has a rocket arm, but both times he threw up the 3rd base line. If the idiots in question had just slid, there was at least a chance they couldve been safe.
