It sounds like Marqueis has bought into the Coaching Philosophy of Jerry Kill and his Staff. If Marqueis can, then they all can. Good luck Gophers and Gopher the Kill come fall.

Gray should have a summer full of tossing passes to WR and TE's. He'll be ready by Sept. when it counts. Just beat cheesefaces and cornhawks.

The UMN Gophers play the NDSU Bison this fall...this will speak volumes of their program. NDSU is on the rise after making the playoffs last year. If the Gophers can not beat the Bison handsomely, a very bad sign. (They might even lose.)

Gray should have been inserted as QB last season, once it was clear that the season was a loss. He's going to have to learn a lot on the job in his first season as the starting QB. So we *might* get one really good year out of him.

Disappointing spring practice. Gray looked like a guy who hadn't played QB in 2 years. Thanks Brewster. Your top recruit and you sit him behind Adam Weber. What a waste. I agree with coach Kill they have along way to go good luck coach. The U fans are pulling for you.

Attendance was decent for a spring game. First, there was more than 2,500 people there. More like 5,000 to 6,000. Secondly, only a few schools have large attendance at spring games. There are notable exceptions, such as Alabama where they pack the stadium, but they really are outliers. At most schools, it is just a few thousand.
