Doesn't the guy have "people" anymore? If so, they need to be replaced.

I can't believe with all his income over the years, such mismanagement of money is even an issue...guess its a "Sign o' the times"

I recall reading, back in the mid to late 1980s,that he was pulling in 17 million bucks a year. While the hardcare are still a cash cow he exploits,I dont think theres as many of them,as well,he's showing his age.

I wonder if it's bad cash flow, or just sloppy accounting?

Well, from "financial delinquencies for the pop/rock star" to psychological, what can you expect from an individual who changes his name from Prince to some mystic yet 'sexualistic' symbol back to Prince: As Carl Jung endlessly lectures within his volumeous essays: the 'shadow' of the man speaks not only his fate but his dark wishes and narcissisms. Hey, look in that mocking mirror next time you sing "I hate U".

Hey, it got his name in the paper and people talking about him. Isn't that what celebrity is all about.

Isn't this CJ's scoop? When you have a journalist with as much talent as her, you may want to get the "ok" before stealing her thunder. I really appreciate all the info on Prince that this fine news source seems to think is so important. Hey, how about some more human interest stories about Somalians? I just can't figure out why this paper is not thriving financially....Really quite baffling.

As explained to me, the story was based upon a disagreement over the property valuation and hence the taxes. When the city wouldn't budge, he said "I'll show you," and he burnt his place to the ground, which obviously subsequently vastly lowers the taxable value since it is then just a land parcel, and they have been squabbling ever since. Anyone else out there with a home where they think they're paying too much taxes? Umm, yeah, that be virtually every single one of us. It's just that Prince has the pockets to stand on principle. Financially he's not hurting. A stupid washed-up rock star he is definitely not.
