Let's be honest, in an economy that doesn't afford you the ability to eat at your favorite restaurants as often, or purchase that new outfit you really want, being able to step out of the bathroom or salon and look fantastic is all the more important.

Of course I'll take the bus vs. driving, in order to buy my Clinique. It's a no-brainer. (But - knock on wood - the economy will never be bad enough for me to stop buying great shoes).
