97% games sold out outta turn into about 37% next year and maybe 7% after that. Going to be 5 years at least before this team smells the playoffs. Not reupping out season tickets Craig, and I'm guessing you lost alot more season Tix holders again this year. Craigs biggest problem is thinking that Koivu is a 1st line center he's never going to have more then around 25 goals and 40 helpers, he may have a fire in his belly and be a fierce hockey player but he's a 2nd line euro hockey player.

The Wild should have kept Gaborik. They shouldn't have traded Nick Leddy. And they should have made a trade for an offensive player once Koivu went down. All of those mistakes are on the GM and the owner, not the coach.

Wow. I didn't realize how out of touch Leipold was until I read this. He was under he illusion that they were going to be a playoff team with these players. Also, he has the audacity to refer to Richards as a "mulligan?" What a clown. TR takes the fall and Fletcher is in "lock step" with Leipold. If I was Richards I would be furious. If I was Fletcher I'd be scared as hell because apparently Leipold believes he's somehow a magician and can turn the team around without some losing. Unreal what it's come to....

Leopold seems like a nice owner. But he is delusional, just like the folks over at the U is delusional about Joel Maturi. I realize that you need time to fix problems. But when you've shown to contribute to the problem instead of going the other way, people tend not to believe in "What changes you promise". This goes to the same folks in Washington DC as well. Fletcher has made bad trades after bad trades. This team is capped out and you can't blame it all on Riseborough. That's like still blaming Bush for our current problems.

Leipold is incredibly out of touch. He he the Wolves Glen Taylor. Sorry Wild fans, our new owner think Fletcher has done a great job even though we are no closer to the playoffs than we were during Risebrough's last year. Leipold and Fletcher equals Taylor and Kahn. As soon we can add Pohlad and Billy Smith to the list. Oh, what fun it is to be a Minnesota pro sports fan.

Hey Liepold, you want to make money? Hire a CEO who knows how to bring people into the arena. We used to have a Mayor and Senator here that was the best pro-business promoter of St. Paul and hockey this city has ever had. You might want to look into his connections around the league (Bettman, Sperling, Burke, Liweicke, etc. etc.) as well as his track record for building something out of nothing (read downtown St. Paul).

I thought people in MN we're smarter then this....blame the owner because he spends money. That's a NEW one. Do you know how bad DR left this team??? did Leiopold hire him??? NO he fired him. Fletch made a bad trade for Barker.. so what he's allowed one. I can't believe you people want to lose for 3-4 yrs in the hopes of getting a few #1 picks that may or may not turn out. dum dee dum dum.

Look at the standings and stats as of Feb 1 a good coach gets this team to the playoffs period. Richards like all former Gophers was in over his head in the NHL.
