The Lynx will land superstar Maya Moore today, but for them certainty ends there.

If they can't become a good team with Moore, then nothing will help them!

The Twolves and Lynx both have had the same lack of success and the same owner. Maybe it is time for Taylor to sell the teams to someone who knows how to run them.

They had their chance and blew it when they didn't trade up to get Whelan.

You would think based on how this team mirrors the Wolves, that Glen Taylor owns them....oh wait.

blame ownership and coaching !!

Minnesota teams almost always draft the wrong person, I could see them not picking Moore, just like the Vikings did not pick Marcus Allen and the the Wolves did not keep Ray Allen. And of course those are only a couple of the many, many poor draft decisions. BUT I do not think this time they will be that stupid, but one never knows.

In 2001 I would have never gone to a Women's basketball game but by 2003 I was just one of the thousands of guys that were filling up Williams arena. With Whalen on the team and now Maya I may just be in for another run this year. Good luck to the Lynx... we could use a winner in this town!

Common denominator between the Twolves and the Lynx...ownership. If anyone else ran such a lousy business or turned out crap for a product they would be fired or go out of business. Not Glen "I should've stayed out of sports" Taylor.

I agree re: the ownership/front office issues. The team has certainly drafted a wealth of talent in the past but injuries and poor player movement choices have hindered their success I think. Looking forward to Moore in a Lynx jersey! If they don't muck it up that is....haha.

Just as with the Wolves, it has to be assumed that fielding a non-competitive team is consistent with the business plan of the owner, nothing more and nothing less. The Wolves apparently have on legitimate NBA player while the Lynx apparently have more than one, at least on paper but have no more success on the court than do the former. Glad that Whalen is here but she was brought here primarily to fill a few more seats but not as an antidote to the continual losing.
