nope...We didn't need a 3B that could hit (Valencia hitting .130) and couldn't get rid of Cuddyer (.091)...Nice job GM.....

the tv guys just said WE'LL HERE FROM CUDDY NEXT ON TV> STAY TUNED TO HEAR THE NEXT BEST BASEBALL MEDIA PLAYER THAT WILL EVER BE!. how about a couple more years on the field. too much media recently for a few of these players. play BALL; and then move on to the next phase of YOUR life?. i would like to enjoy both phases, but play ball the best you can now. you got some left!.

Sure do like to see Pavano pitch like that-then see Nathan hit with those sliders-welcome back Joe! P.S. Give me a break RobK68-it's been like a week. So do you think the guys in the league hitting over .400 the first week will keep it up. think you need a little sunshine in your life dude!

Winning the home opener is ALWAYS a good thing. Especially when it's NOT the first game of the season.

I just loved seeing Joe-Joe singles hitting in the #2 spot - right where he has always belonged - too bad it took a dudes broken leg to make Gardy realize that

glad they removed those trees. they had to have been the reason they couldn't hit.

Great 8th inning. What a show it was a blast being there. I tip my cap to the left fielder for that great catch of Morneau's liner. That would have been great if he had missed it.
