I'm sure the players are happy to get home to their families.Seems like they've been gone forever, anytime they go to New York it seems that way. Tough loss losing Nishi.Hopefully there is no damage to the knee itself as that will have alot to do with recovery time.I'm guessing with no knee damage 6 to 8 weeks. Look on the bright side of things. That was a heck of a tough way to start the season, and we got a couple of wins, could've been worse. The Twins need to start hitting,I think the fans are going to help give the Twins a jumpstart. GO TWINS!

Nothing but fluff and padding, Jim. You sound like Dick Bremer waxing poetic about the dew on the field. Wretch.

fans craving more than just another playoff appearance? Uh, we'll be lucky if this bunch is even close to contention by late August. It's going to be a down year - Nathan's going to get his 20 saves - but blow 10. Mauer will have okay stats, but will be battling his usual 5 - 10 game DL stints, Gardy's incessant babying, and the mental frustration of not being able to come through in clutch at-bats. Morneau will be average at first and bat .240 and the Twins and media will still fawn all over him for such a valiant comeback (puke) while he once again fails to play past early September because of yet another ailment. OUr starters will pitch like the 2nd tier talent they are, and the middle infield will play right at the level of Casilla's IQ. Third place at best.

@romperroom...could you be anymore positive? come on it's early...give them a chance...glad I don't go to you for support and encouragement and do all Twins fans a favor...stay away from Target Field.

I have White Sox fans glowing about being in first place. Then I remind them the season is a week old! Sure there are some familiar trends showing up with the 2011 Twins, but c'mon its so early in the season!
