Time to shop Liriano for a major league shortstop. Liriano can't pitch out of the stretch - this year can't even give the team 5 innings and turns a deaf ear to Anderson. Trade him and bring up Gibson. YOu then just have to worry about filling the 2nd base slot and will have only one weak hitter in your lineup. It just goes to show you that Nishioka lacks proper fundamentals for the double play and doe not have the arm strength ot get the ball to first unless he has his feet on the ground. Go Luke H - at least he is a power right handed batter.

Gardy set him up for this by putting him out of position. He was an all star shortshop in Japan and Casilla has always played second base for the Twins. And Smith was dumb to let both Hardy AND Hudson walk away.

Sorry for Nishioka to be hurt, but I am excited to see what Luke Hughes can do in the Big Leagues...he was hitting great early and mid-spring...lots of homers! Go get em Luke!
