This shouldn't even be a question that they should be able to continue to help do these kinds of things if there is a shutdown. It would be really pathetic to basically be told "Sorry, we can't help you, you being our own citizens, friends, and families because money comes before anything else."

Tourism will not suffer, its April, the month when resort owners go on vacation. You can still go into the BWCA, but why would you, its still frozen and melting fast.
