"I still think you can't force quarterback. If you're not comfortable with it, you just can't because you're just going to make a mistake." - Why couldn't Spielman be around when Chilly grabbed T. Jack in the second round... that was a "reach" i could have lived without

really? The Vikes are looking for a qb? really? Ground breaking news Chip. These stories are getting as tiresome as Judd's daily Brett updates last off season. There are other positions in fb, as well as players to fill them. You may have to do some actual work to compile some info on them I know, but speaking only for myself, I'd appreciate the effort.

I still think its Dalton or Ponder. Locker is not being pursued by the Vikings and he shouldn't be and Mallet brings some risk with immaturity.

It's the same old song and dance year after year after year. Spielman, Frazier, et al, here's a suggestion. Why don't you put it to music and take it on the road. I'm sure it would be a hit.

Could it be that we don't have a good QB because the Vikings management that PICKS quarterback aren't good at their job????? I think this team stinks from the top down.

Mallett, although he definitely has a rocket arm, brings character issues along with maturity concerns, so I am really skeptical on him. Ponder or Dalton in the 2nd makes more sense. Stanzi would be good insurance in the 3rd (if we get one in a trade down - Thanks Childo!) or the 4th. And if not Stanzi then Jerrod Johnson in a later round.

Ryan Mallett, Ricky Stanzi, or Jake Locker. If not then go with Joe Webb and wait until next year. The three above QB's have shown they can play in a pro style offense. Stanzi is a Huge Sleeper! Your media draft pundits Never get it right and at least 1/3 of those highly touted players will not cut it in the NFL...happens every single year.

Joe Webb showed enough moxie that the Vikings can wait till the second or fourth round to draft from this weak quarterback class. Dalton, Ponder, and Mallet could all drop to the fourth round based on talent, injury, and maturity in that order. With that said, I feel this could be an Adrian Peterson draft...can definitley see Cam Newton or Gabbert sliding....Skol!!!
