This advice is what I would expect but it doesn't address the fundamental question of how a job seeker over 50 compete when employers may only be hiring people under 30. In this economy employers are looking to pay less and get more for their buck. Experienced workers who can command a higher salary are losing out to young new grads to start at a much lower salary. I hear it from people every day. What then?
