please do not draft Cam Newton. Just another Vince Young.

I hope the Vikings are interested in Kaepernick and will set up a workout and meeting with him later. Kaepernick has unbelievable physical skills like Cam Newton but without the ego problem that Newton appears to have. Kaepernick is also one of the most intelligent QB's in this year's draft. Like Ponder, Kaepernick's stock is rising.

OL is to slow , they can not get down field and put someone in the dirt, most of the time they have hands on hips drill watching play pass them by , the sorriess run block group I have seen in 40 yr.s - OL needs to get younger meaner , faster and Oh almost forgot QB needs a little time back there. # 12 PICK BEST OT OR DE- pick #43 Andy Dolton - all other picks best players to help team get balance

This isn't isn't a "grammar competition". Let's just stick to sports ok.

Would like to see what they think of stanzi or Kaepernick. Originally i thought we might be able to get Ponder or Dalton with our second rounder but the more i read both might be gone by the time we pick in 2nd.The other thing that is out there has us trading back in the first and taking either Mallet or Locker.Liked what i saw of Kaepernick at combine but that's not alot to go on.

Sid thinks Minnesota's Adam Weber could be the Vikings pick. I think Adam has a better future by continuing to pursue law school and then later, practice as an agent negotiating contracts for professional athletes.

Chris Ponder and Mr. Wonderful Cam is the answer. What the heck is the question? If you want another 2 or 3 years of not having a QB that will grow into a great QB to lead the Vikes all you have to do is draft one of these two guys.

One thing everyone should remember is a good or great QB makes everyone, even a bad Offensive Line look good. Two years ago Aaron Rodgers got sacked over 50 times and still threw for over 4,000 yards. Though I wouldn't want any QB to take that kind of punishment year in and year out, but a good QB can be the difference between a playoff or nothing. The Vikes need a QB of the future and a drop back passer needs to be the 1st thing on the list. All these athletic QB's haven't done much in the last 15 years or so, have they? Just look at what Brett Favre did with the Offense two years ago with pretty much the same team. If Brett hadn't reverted to his, stupid play mode, the Vikes would have had a Super Bowl Trophy in their case right now. Drop back passer is number one on the list.

First of all if you're not a coach in the NFL no one really cares what you think because you probably have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to QB's in the NFL. Even if you have some slight knowledge about this subject you still don't know, no one really knows not even the coaches. They may have an idea that someone may work out, but they don't really know for sure. So until the Vikes draft someone and they actually start to play in the NFL we should all just keep our comments to our selves (including the writers).

There is a draft every year, do not reach for a quarterback, if the value is not there, pass and draft a top quarterback next year
