Cuddyer -- Most overrated player on the Twins roster. Given the best opportunities with weak and inconsistent results. All years inferior output with just one exception. Of course, that is all we want to remember is his one fluke year.

What I want to know about Mike Cuddyer is how many of those 14 home runs were solo shots when we either up/down by 6 runs. Cuddyer is the most overrated player on the team, he must be one of Ron Gardenhire's darlings.

Outside of Thome last year name me the other clutch Twin. All cuddyer does is show up every game and play where they need him. Nagging injuries don't sit him down. Most of you cuddyer haters are clueless and know nothing more about the game than the players names. Name me 5 Twins you do like and 3 reasons why.

To those talking about the cheap Pohlads and how the Twins should spend more on payroll - yes, $26 million profit is pretty good on $200 million or so revenue (assuming they spent about half of revenue on payroll). But at the start of 2010 they probably didn't know what revenue would be and this story, plus Souhan's comments, point out that Twins popularity is very good. So payroll is up again this year. Zero profit is not realistic, so what is? In hindsight they could probably afford another $10 M last year - but did add payroll during the year (Capps and Fuentes, most notably). Great organization, great product.

Maturi has been offered a contract extension? Like I have said before, whenever I read about Goofer sports, I always have to check to see if I am reading the Strib or the Onion.

I'm really looking forward to seeing a healthy Cuddyer play this year - he's a great example of being willing to play wherever needed, and do so without complaining while playing in pain. His personality and work ethic make him one of the Twins favorites for many - let's hope he stays healthy and productive this year.
