Sorry to see that Gardy kept Tolbert, but it was very predictable. I guess he'll be the new Punto. Hughes would have been my choice

Sorry to see Gardy kept Tolbert instead of Hughes, but it was predictable. Tolbert will be this years Punto.

No where near last years BP even with Joe coming back.

the Twins roster top to bottom can compete with any team. The bullpen will be just fine. We still have some pretty good arms out there even if most are unproven.

I would have liked to see Hughes make the team, but, Gardy knows best. Can't wait for this season to get started. Twins are going to do well. Go Twins!!!

Woo Hoo! Another Twins season is upon us which means another year of making the playoffs and an early first round exit. If anyone really believes this team has any chance of winning a World Series all I have to say is that you have been drinking way too much of the stuff the Twins are providing. Gardy is the new Denny Green!!

Keeping Hughes, and the 12 plate appearances he'd get in April, would have been a doofus decision.

Tolbert, really Gardy?? Hughes goes off this spring, but we need to have that defensive stopper, right? Because right handed power on this team is such a luxury on this team.

Nathan closing? Fine. However, I hope he throws with a little more velocity than he had before his surgery. Sliders at 86 mph don't even scare me. He needs to throw heat.....otherwise, Capps needs the job.

Not sure why Gardy has made Nathan the closer again. A major surgery recovery, a poor spring showing, and what appears to be less movement on his fastball could cost the Twins early. Business is business and if he doesn't perform it could be time to move him. Sure he has done some good things for the Twins in the past but that doesn't qualify him to be the closer. The Twins won without him last year and will do so again if necessary.
