Wild glad NHL gave Cooke stiff penalty

Wild defenseman Nick Schultz is happy the NHL finally dealt with the Penguins' Matt Cooke, who hit former Minnesota Mr. Hockey and Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh with a blatant elbow Sunday. Cooke has been suspended for the rest of the regular season and first round of the playoffs.

Wild could use Read, as any team could, but they may be better off going for a more offensive player such as Da Costa

True enough Cooke should be punished severely. But the way Wild have played, none of our current players except the net minders will ever have to worry about facing him again in an NHL game anyway ...
