The Wild played better than it did in Sunday's drubbing by Montreal, but its losing streak stretched to seven games.

Hang in there Wild, only 8 more games left until tee times can be made.

The fan interest level in this team is about as low as the output of this team. Pack it up and obtain players that can put the puck in the net.

This team will again finish in the conferences 13th slot this year. In fact, it now has a point total identical to what it had last year at this time. You'd be hard pressed to find a time in the Wild's brief history in which they were more hopeless and apathetic than these past two seasons. So, my question is: Who goes, Richards or Fletcher, because neither one is getting it done. Richards is awful; he has no business being a head coach at this level. On Fletcher's behalf, how many years IS it going to take for this guy to build a team that can actually make the playoffs? Weren't we supposed to be "exciting" and "up-tempo" and a "cup contender"? Hmm. We just suck, and those two guys are to blame, no two ways about it.

Pathetic Mr. Leipold. Is that the response you were expecting after being drubbed 8-1 three days ago? Nice preparation by your staff, the players, and coaches. You talked about winning championships when you bought the team. When can we expect that Mr. Leipold? Walk the talk Mr. Leipold.

The announcers were talking at one point about how the Wild were outshooting the Maple Leafs 16-10 and Greenlay says, "Toronto just had two really good shots that found the back of the net or this would be a zero/zero hockey game." Yeah, and if Toronto's goalie hadn't stopped all 16 shots by the Wild, maybe they would have had a goal or 2. Where does he come up with this stuff?

I've been sick to my stomach for quite some time with this club. Matter of fact I've been in the dry heaves since the Montreal debacle. Is this normal or is the Russo kool aid finally wearing off?

This is not a surprise people. It was over last july! The team will take years to come back from this change that fletcher and leipold created. It basically a weak team with no talent and there is no team feeling like they could of have. Fans are tired of excuses! Leipold now knows he hired the wrong people and got rid of the wrong players. Get back old minnesota hockey. Start with getting players that will stick up for each other and not curl up!

Consolation? Are you kidding me? Ten years and they've come to this. It's a disgrace. An outright disgrace. This GM is no better than Riseborough and that was awful. Running a franchise in the ground. Stay away from the X until they get a team there. Please.

the scary thing is the wild's drafting is still suspect under fletcher. He first takes leddy, and then didnt think enough of him and traded for barker. Next he takes granlund, who is supposed to be the best player at the time in that draft. Now fletcher thinks its better for granlund to stay in finland and play there next season to develop. How about trying to draft an immediate impact guy not one that you know will take 2 to three years to hopefully get ready just to play in houston.
