Sometimes I don't understand Gardy. What is wrong with sometimes bunting with Nish? So what if they walk Mauer - that would mean two on and one out for Morneau (if he is healthy). Not a bad situation if you ask me.

I know that all, yes all, of the reporters that cover the Twins operate at less-than arms length with the players and manager. But has any one of them dared to risk asking Gardy or Cuddy if Cuddy should not have had that wart cut our last November when it first appeared?

Anyone else out there think Cuddy should not even an everyday starter? Really, if Thome is DH ing, Kubel against any right handed pitcher is a better option than Cud the pud. I bet the Twins would see better results if he started around 80 to 90 games, with Kubel in RF for the other remaining games. Cuddy also has NO BUSINESS batting 5th in this lineup. Not with Morneau back, and Young and Valencia expected to perform. But as always, I'd place even $ that Garden Gnome with have his fav Cuddy the Poo Bear in the 5 slot come opening day.

definitely agree with twins77 that cuddy does not belong in the lineup against rhp and that kubel is much better option to play right against rhp.
