We have a Gordmans store here in Madison and enjoy shopping there. I like them for their sports appearel and my wife likes their selection of housewares. I find they are like a Walmart/Pier One Imports rolled into one store with equivilant pricing.

Good luck Gordman's. I have shopped at their stores in Fargo & Sioux Falls. They have good deals & quality merchandise. I don't buy clothes out-of-state because of taxes. I hope they do well in Minnesota.

I live in Minneapolis with a daughter in Moorhead. On my trips to my daughter, the first thing is to go to Gordman's. I am glad to see them opening here in the cities.

Having cheap prices is key in this economy. Look at the explosion of Goodwill stores right now.

i use to go to Marshalls, but, shopping there over the holidays was too expensive. They have raised their prices a lot, really a lot. I went to Target instead and got better deals. I will try this new store.

Gordman's is a great store. I do not buy clothes there but the houseware stuff is great. They are more like Burlington, TJ Maxx, etc. Fun place to shop and they ALWAYS give out discount coupons.

I find Gordman's to be a shopping "addiction". I first experienced a Gordman's in Grand Forks, ND many years ago and was excited when they opened in Mankato. I live half way between Mankato and Burnsville so I am thrilled they will be in Burnsville as well.I wish them great success!

Just another business fleeing high-tax Minnesota.

If, as someone said, they're anything like Walmart, I'm staying far, far away.
