Why all the music coverage from SXSW on the strib website? Are we going to get updates from Burning Man this summer too? Anyways; grats on getting paid to party, bro

Thanks so much for your continued SXSW coverage! Grew up near Minneapolis and now live in Austin, so it's wonderful to see hometown bands show up in this arena! I've been using this blog to quickly find out which bands are in town so I can find them at unofficial venues :) Balls4, I have to disagree with you on the importance of sending a blogger to "party". With Minnesota's amazing art scene I think it's important to have one of the biggest music festivals in the world brought to life for music lovers back home- especially when there are so many hometown bands here.
