Sid - could you provide a link to register for the Brad Childress football clinics? I'd love nothing more than for my son to learn the KAO from the master himself . . .

Tubby is sick and tired of the rumors....but then says he would listen to Arkansas. One way to stop the rumors is stop listening to every offer that comes around.

Two Of A Kind: Sorry Sid but like Tubby you have lost your grip on reality and you are both out of the mainstream of how things operate today. I think you are back in the 60's or maybe even the 50's. Tubby has demonstrated that he can't keep up with the other coaches in the Big Ten or anywhere else. He is hanging on to an inflated opinion help by people of your backward thinking. He has demonstated he can't deal with his players and will not change. You both belong in another era and your opinions belong in the closet. Let Tubby talk to Arkansas. Who cares.

What prestige would Minn. lose if Tubby leaves. It must be the result of his "Mediocre"eason Sid refers to. If he goes I sure hope Maturi goes also. Many commentators are disgusted with Maturi and would like to see him lease but no one blames the guy who can fire him. Why is that?

Second, I challenge anyone posting on this board to tell me that they don't or wouldn't listen to offers that come their way in their particular field.

In just four years, Coach Smith has three 20-win seasons and two NCCAA appearances In Smith's first year he transformed Monson's 9-win team into a 20-game winner with basically the same players. Last season, with this season's quitter Josephs, Smith lead his team deeper into The Big 10 Tournament than any Gopher basketball coach ever. Anyone seriously following Gopher basketball knows the loss of its two starting point guards killed this season - NOT Smith's coaching.

He's had 1 bad year not of his doing, but due to joseph leaving crying he wasn't getting playing time and injuries. Shall we go back to the illegal Haskins era? As for Maturi, I am in the minority, but I believe he has done a good job minus Brewster, if you posters don't like Maturi Snail Mail the regents and give them your reasons why he should be fired, don't post it here as it won't do any good!!!
