In an interview in Spain, the point guard suggested NBA labor unrest could keep him in Europe another year.

Two things can happen: 1) Rubio joins the T-Wolves. He is an even bigger bust in the NBA than he has been of late in Spain. OR 2)Rubio doesn't join the T-Wolves and the draft pick continues to be a waste. Whatever happens now, there is no way this thing ends up helping the T-Wolves.

Since he's only 20, the Wolves can use the "we're young" excuse and team mantra for at least a couple more years.

When a point guard says he needs to get his shot back, I get real nervous. Pooh Richardson, anyone? And Rubio is the PG we are counting on to turn this team around? Looks like 25 wins might be next year's lofty achievement.

Maybe we could move the Wolves to Spain and they could play with Rubio there? (Would you miss them? Really??)

Kahn and the Wolves must know something that everyone else seems to not know. Whenever we hear about Rubio not wanting to play here, they quickly dismiss it.

Or option 3) he plays here and ends up being good. Here's hoping!

Rubio will be a bust! Trade him NOW. There are HIGH SCHOOL pg's better than this dude. He's all hype. I'll take Doc River's kid who's going to Duke next year over Rubio. Fancy passes and flair sell tickets and create hype, they do not win games or turn franchises around! Trade him now and get something for him!!

He will continue to intrigue until he finally gets on a NBA court and everyone realizes he has no game. He's a below average European point guard who can't shoot or defend - absolutely no doubt in my mind that he will end up being a major BUST. Trade him now before no one wants him.

Smart move to tie the future of your franchise to the whims of a, then, teenager who lives in another country and can make a comfortable living there. Well played Kahn.
