Here's the stadium deal I'd negotiate. The taxpayers will pay 100% for it, but for every arrest of a Viking player during the 30-year lease, the team will assume $10,000,000 of the debt, and for every conviction of a crime, $20,000,000. The stadium will pay for itself and then some.

"Cut him?" "Typical?" What's wrong with you people? We know absolutely nothing about what actually happened. Is it possible that Cook pulled a gun? Certainly. Is it equally possible that the neighbor is a nut and is blatantly lying? Definitely. Is it possible that the truth lies somewhere in between? Of course. Anyone who makes a judgment about Cook--either good or bad--based on the extremely limited available information is acting incredibly foolish.

What's the sense of having a Concealed Carry permit if you can't pull out a weapon whenever you get in an argument?

At first I thought Ryan Cook? Then I remembered we had a Chris Cook too.

If you think just because you have a C&C, you can whip out a gun anytime you feel like your endangered, you had better double check the rules. In MN at least, a C&C just means you are a bigger target. I have taken the course to get mine but after learning the legalities, I am not sure it is really as worth it as it seems. I am not standing up for Chris Cook (HMMM C&C). Read the real law before you think it is glamorous to have.
