More good stuff from Reusse. Have to laugh at the folks who call him "cynical." Like that's a bad thing, anyway. Reusse is a reporter. Sometimes, as someone once said in a movie, people can't handle the truth. Reusse just gives us reality. Glad you're down there, son.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure it's "Glioblastoma," not "giloblastoma" - and they usually say "stage" 4, rather than "grade 4" when talking about how far along the cancer is. I'm just sorry the coach has to deal with something like this, and wish him all the luck he can get. I admire his attitude about it.

Once again, luck raises its ugly head. How unjust is luck!

Stage 4 glioblastomas are extremely tough on the individual. I wish the coach the best luck to conquer whatever bad luck came before.

Great job Patrick! I am a six and a half-year survivor of glioblastoma. It hasn't been easy. Your article can help raise awareness of brain tumors and I appreciate that. Just for the record, brain tumors are classified by grade from one to four with glioblastoma multiforme being a grade four by definition. There are lesser-grade brain tumors that have different names. Some other cancers like breast cancer are classified by stage.
