Its over.Plan for the draft and have a nice summer.

Richards is clueless and fletcher couldn't judge talent to save his life or career. they are the new timberwolves with another mchale type in charge and will go nowhere

Stick a fork in; they're done.

How about Backstrom, Burns and Mittens to Washington this summer. In return we get #8 and his "Ovechtricks". This is, only if it doesnt break up the great team chemistry we have going now.

To much talent to keep from getting high impact draft picks, not enough talent to compete and lure Quality free agents, Gm who clearly has no plan and a coach who cannot get his team to show up in the middle of a playoff race, sounds to me like ten more years of the same old same old if you ask me.

Where is the leadership? Right now this team is an embarrassment. Time to clean house again...

Twin1Todd... Mister Know it all will not go as far as to say the Wild won't create some drama down the stretch, they should bounce back against the Knuckleheads, if they don't and they lose then you can stick a fork in them for good..... I think if they could get one player back I would take Clutterbuck and not Koivou, I think they miss Clutterbuck more...... This team is not that together to play like they did the last 2 games obviously..... Mister Know it all has called this all along for the last 2 years

Wow...the mighty State of Hockey...land of 10000 pucks. Sure sucks tonight. Wild losing and out of playoff contention soon. Gophers across town loses to Anchorage....ANCHORAGE. How do you lose to U of Alaska? Don't they take rejects from Mankato State?

schmidty2goMar. 11, 1110:46 PM

As I said, this team was never a contender and Fletcher should have sold the UFA's to give this team a future and tell the dreamers the hard truth. Instead, he bought into the "Fools Gold" and this teams chances to make a big move with 4-5 extra picks are now gone and this team is again left with no scoring and minimal picks to take them to the next level. Shame on the Wild for another year.

nsjohn130Mar. 11, 1110:47 PM

Yeah I'd say the loss of Clutterbuck and Koivu really shows what this team is capable of without a main checker and a important two way forward...that is not capable of much. I had mentioned before how I didn't think Glats should be back...and now he is out again..it better not be anything serious or I will seriously be pissed at the pressure they put on him. I know it was his decision in the end but really...he had multiple surgeries..you dont pressure a guy to come back especially when you know he wants to be shouldnt.
