Al Jefferson is the Mush. He is the kiss of death for any team when he lands on your roster. You may think you like the 20 and 10 he gives you but as soon as he puts your uniform on your team just became a loser. Look at his entire career. He's lost everywhere he's ever been. He will be that guy for his whole career who always seems to put numbers up but always seems to lose. Guys like him never win in this league because he doesn't do anything other than score. I was happy as hell to see him leave and as soon as he gets to Utah Sloan bails and Williams get traded. I just wish someone would ship him off to LA in a hurry to prevent their 3rd straight this year. Then maybe after destroying that franchise someone can send him to Boston again so he can set that franchise back. In fact I think Al needs to be sent to about a half a dozen teams in this rigged league.

Big Al always seemed like a class act, He is a very good low post player and Utah will be back winning games very soon. Thanks for your time in Sota Big Al. Always a fan

I forget just what did we get for trading him? Love will be joining him soon. He wants to play for a winning team.

Big Al and K-Love are still very similar where they are going to have to find an athletic big who can D to put along side them for their teams to find success in the NBA. Neither has had that in their careers while they have been all star caliber players. Favors might develop into that for Utah and Big Al but Darko is clearly not the answer for K-Love. He has no love for basketball or so it seems. Hopefully Randolph develops into that type of player for Minnesota but it's looking like the Wolves still need to find that player because Randolph doesnt exactly look like a big stopper in the making. If the Wolves really want to win, they are going to have to put a good defensive player or team defender at all the spots around Love.

justin1978, from my perspective, I thought I had seen some marked improvement in terms of Love's defense the last five or so games (not counting the last one with his knee). Of course, he had nowhere to go but up, but I saw improvement. He blocked a couple shots and contested others, took a couple charges, showed more intensity and commitment... I think he could be a decent defender in this league, but as you say, playing alongside a defensive stopper would certainly be an advantage for him, and more importantly, help the Wolves win. Actually, Darko is a pretty good defender and would be even better if he would avoid picking up needless fouls. Next year should be very interesting...

Big Al has superior in the paint moves...probably better than anybody else in the NBA. His problem, and Darko is even more guilty of it, is holding onto the ball too long and not passing off to somebody before the double team closes in. Now, Al had an excuse the last couple of years because the Wolves really didn't have decent outside shooting. He certainly wasn't the reason the team was lousy...he would make a good team better...xerxes316 is way off base, here.

Xerxes316 is right on base! The NBA is a totally "rigged" league, where the officials are corrupt and the outcome of the game is decided before the opening tip. The NBA is about one step above the World Wrestling Federation (LOL)! "Big Al" was a scorer when he was in Minnesota and not a leader. Funny, that there is no TV coverage for the game when the Wolves former "star" comes to town. This is especially true when the Timberchihuahua's are pretty much the worst team in the league! Way to promote your team Grinnin' Glen Taylor (owner)!

How can you not like K-Love? Break up the T-Wolves. Bring on the Heat, Lakers, Spurs, Celtics/K-G who?
