Both Cal Clutterbuck and Mikko Koivu are on the Wild's four-game road trip, but it's uncertain when either will return to the lineup.

Mister Know it all says: Players biggest concerns about talking about their injuries is primarily for 2 reasons Dean, their next contract and future competition.

This is a tough road trip, against some tough teams. Let's hope we can hold on and at least get maybe 4-5 pts. Get Koivu back, Clutterbuck back, and head down the home stretch with a winning streak! Or, at least that's my wishful thinking. Let's go Wild! Beat the Preds tonight!

Get well, Cal, Wild needs ya!! Another road trip without 25? I don't see him around here by next fall...GO WILD!! BIG TRIP!! GET R DONE!!

4 - 5 pts.? Need six minimum to stay in contention. Too many ridiculous 3-pt games happening. Where I hate the three pointers for a number of reasons including the difficulty in climbing the standings, Russo-the-Great reminded me of another that sets in this time of year - teams hanging out in the neutral zone waiting to pinch the rush with no real effort for a goal just to protect their point. This is especially disappointing to fans that rarely get to see teams from the other conference. How would that be if you could hardly wait to see a fast paced game vs. the Ovie and the Caps in late March only for your playoff-bubble team to go into a boring defensive shell late in the game just to protect their all important sister-kissing point. I'd be asking the league for a refund.

""Let's hope we can hold on and at least get maybe 4-5 pts.""------NEWS FLASH! WILD are going to make the playoffs? Ummm, right. Face it-the WILD aren't making the playoffs(again). They would have to go on a winning streak, unlike anything they've accomplished this year. Let's BE REALISTIC. The WILD aren't a playoff team. Not this year, not last year, the year before, etc etc. WE NEED A COMPETITIVE NHL TEAM HERE IN MN.

Tonight's game is going to be tough, as the Wild has yet to figure out how to beat Rinne, although to be fair, most other teams are in the same boat. It's tougher for the Wild, though, because they are the lowest scoring team in the league. I'm hoping GLat will help them get some goals on this trip. As for the game with the Stars.....this reminds me of the situation the Wild was in with Calgary for so long: couldn't beat them no matter what. They turned that around last season and haven't looked back, so this would be a good time to do it with Dallas. The guy they need to watch out for is Ott, who is a meaner version of Cal, likes to hit and can score, but also doesn't mind dropping the gloves. He can get you off your game pretty quickly if he gets under your skin.

Siouxchamp, here's NEWS FLASH for you: The team needs 18 pts out of 15 games, which isn't exactly a run of biblical proportions. Check the schedule and count up the points, feel free to take your shoes off to help out. As for being "competetive", I'd say having PMB and Gui out for most of the season and Miko missing 3 weeks might have something to do with not having 4th place locked up.

WASHBURNLK--wishful thinking. My wish list, include a NIT Tournament for the NHL. the WILD would make it EVERY year.

Mister Know it all says: Players biggest concerns about talking about their injuries is primarily for 2 reasons Dean, their next contract and future competition. STOP THE PRESSES !!!!!! For the first time in history, MKIA actually posted something that makes sense and I can agree with. Oh the humanity

Very good to hear that Scandella is OK. Hadn't heard anything about him since he went out with concussion, I assumed he had been shut down for the season. This is very good news for a player with a lot of promise.
