The All-Star tied Moses Malone's double-double mark, but it felt hollow.

Flynn good shooting night. But Johnny could you at least get in front of your man on defense and put your hands up. ZERO on defense. Tough loss. Good job Kevin.

But again they lost because they can not stop anyone from scoring. Love has great stats for a big guy. Remember Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double for 3 yrs.

I think I'm officially done with the Darko project. He has shown little to no toughness or resilency this season. I was happy to see Beasley return to form, we definitely need more of that. Unfortunately though this is the 3rd game in a row the wolves have lost in the last 2 minutes of the game. Rambis continues to amaze me with his player rotations. He sat BOTH Beasley and Love at the beginning of the 4th. What coach in their right mind sits his best players at the critical junction of a close game and possible upset win? As a team they would've gotten more out of a win than from giving a couple bench guys extra playing time. These losses are not entirely his fault, but he sure isn't making it any easier from them to win.

If they continue to play no defense, they will continue to win no games.

A brutal first half of ugly ball against a disinterested Mavs teams. Second half was more entertaining, but still bad basketball. Darko needs to sit the rest of the year because every bump just about does him in. NBA basketball may simply be to rough for his cashmere self. Beasely is Mr. Inconsistent himself. After missing a free throw he walks up to the basket and stares at the rim in a Ron Artest clown-like manner. Misses five free throws in a row before he figures out he needs to put more arc on his shot. Jonny, who I am giving an injury pass to for the rest of the season, was truly horrible on defense. He gets up in Berarra's grill only to be disposed of like tissue paper as Berrara drives by him and either dishes or scores. Ridnour makes two critical mistakes at the end of the game, though there were plenty of costly mistakes made earlier in the game by his teammates. I will watch the rest of the games because I enjoy how Love plays and I want to see lots more of Randolph and Pek. Randolph should be getting some time at the point. And I want to see if Beasely gets his act together or turns into a clown.

It was obvious that Darko doesn't want to play. He got banged early on, didn't like it, and from then on feigned injuries to be taken out. He doesn't like basketball, doesn't want to play hard, but doesn't want to give up $5 million a year. Pek tries so hard, but his hands are about as bad as Darko's. Flynn played no defense, again, and even though he shot well, who needs another 6' two guard? Beasley shot 8-22, missed 5 free throws, had 5 turnovers, and played no defense. Love, I think, was embarrassed that Cardinal did a Ray Allen act on him, and finally cracked down on defense in the latter stages of the game. Randolph should be getting the big minutes, Darko should be bought out, and Beasley needs a parental figure to talk to him. Love led the team in assists. Hmmm...

Chuck Traylor, best post I have read all year! I'd send Darko to a big man's camp for the rest of season and give him the entire offseason to get his offensive game together. If after 10 games next year he is still Darko the Dismal, buy him out. I'm also giving Jonny the offseason to get his act together. I would dump him too if he doesn't get it together, and I am one of his supporters! Very lazy defender. Beasely? Who knows what will happen with him on or off the court. I guess I'll wait and see if he matures by next season.

Can someone please explain what Rambis is bringing to this organization? Is it just me or does he have contempt for his players? These guys, Beasley more than anyone, need a coach that's one part drill sergeant and one part dad and that is most definitely not Kurt. Get Sam Mitchell on the phone.

Ex-Wolf Custodian Brian Cardinal might have been the difference...4 for 8 from beyond the arc & 3 steals in 17 minutes.

7 point lead going into the 4th quarter - lose by 3, pretty typical. Thanks guys. What a joy this season has been.
