Its real, its overpowering and typically, men just don't know how to get help, or won't. Its time for all men that suffer from it to accept the fact that we aren't failing if we get help, but rather, succeeding. Step forward guys, and admit you need help. You aren't less of a man by doing so...in fact, you are proving that you can do what it takes to survive this harsh world.

This is a good article that I could really relate to. Often, us men especially have difficulty in sharing emotions and feelings about our depression, and see it as a sign of weakness. We turn to alcohol or medicine to dull the pain, which is more acceptable in our society.

Excellent, much needed article! Thank you for telling the story of what so many go through. Had a good friend living with the same issues(and 2 young kids)but he did pull that trigger. GO TEAM MARK!
