As promised, they stayed busy, putting tenders on Sidney Rice, Ray Edwards and most other potential restricted free agents.

Nothing is going to stop the vikings from ANOTHER 6-10 season in 2011 (unless they dedcide to make Joe Webb the starter in which case they will be 4-12)!!!

I'd definitely take a first rounder for Rice and another for Ray Edwards... what team in their right mind would offer that for Edwards? I would want to keep Abdullah and Robison but say good-bye to Basset, Jackson and Tahi. I have mixed feelings about Cook and Evans as decent back ups. I don't see anyone picking up Frampton. I would hate to lose Leber but I think he will be a casualty to youth. Great player for the Vikes though. I've truly enjoyed watching him play.

Like he will read this but: Sydney, comon dog. Why do you have to piss us off even more , right when we got over the hip thing. Show loyalty so we feel like we have a chance. Not exploring other options would be a start. You can always hope the door is revolving if you leave. Just ask Daunte.

I would have tendered a 2nd to Edwards, he has been so so and really is not in the long term plans so why not cash in. No one would give up a 1 for him but a second is realistic. Rice has to do what he has to do. Unfortunately he is a gamble no matter how you look at it. So a 1st rounder would be worth letting him go. Love him but he only was healthy one season and other than that pretty weak. As for the labor talks I am on the players side but they have to realize we need to keep the restricted tags. I want the option to keep a Viking a Viking! None of this NBA moving around crap. Player remember keeping with a team helps the game and the fans. Which ultimately helps your pocket book.

Go after Oregon St's Stephen Paea, DT. Despite not doing on field drills due to arthroscopic knee surgery in Jan, it did not keep him from setting a huge record in the weight room by pressing 225lbs 49 times!

the entire coaching staff and the entire roster except for Adrian Peterson underachieved last season and that is putting it kindly. I also believe the Vikings have missed on a couple of their high picks lately. is Loadholt any good or is it poor coaching. is Tyrell Johnson any good or is it poor coaching? the Vikings need to draft error free in the first 3 rounds and get quality players or we need to clean house in that department as well!

Sidney is not going to benefit our game next year anyway. It's in his and our own best interests to let him move on. Without a quality QB he is just a route runner.
