Saw it last night - it was great. I half expected some of the protest signs they carried to say "On Wisconsin...." would have been a nice touch.

Not sure what you were watching, but it was sub-par...even poor! I was hoping they would have taxpayer rights signs being carried around.

Taxpayer rights? Why not hippies protesting for "right to work" laws and against the teachers' union? Or pro-war signs? Obviously, you attended the wrong event. This one was called "Hair."

I saw it 2 nights ago. As good as when I first saw it 40 years ago. Great cast. Great music. Lasting message.

Tax payers are the oppressed people of 2011. Just as in the '60s people protested unfair government and "the man" practices, tax payers, the "little guy/gal" are being held down. And you are part of "the establishment", by protecting those in power. Large, well organized corporations and unions are aggregating all the power and squeezing the individual tax payer and taking money out of our pockets. The teachers union IS A BIG BAD CORPORATION. Only caring about what is best for itself, regardless of its impact on students and tax payers. I'm sure you've seen the statistics that show in many states that the ongoing retirements and health care benefits for teachers and state employees is over $7,000 per citizen, per year. Not 7K per tax payer, but for every person, regardless of age. So where is your baby girl going to come up with 7K per year?

I saw this show yesterday. In over 35 years of theater attendance, this was by far the worst show I've ever seen. I left after 30 minutes. All they did was attack Christianity, God, and productive society. Men demonstrated having sex with other men as well. Bottom line is that it depicts a bunch of unhappy people who become happy when they are on drugs and they start acting like animals in the street. They are all so stupid and misinformed that they protest everything that makes America great. Unless you are a total fool, you would have more enjoyment flushing your money down the toilet than paying for this disgrace of an event. To make matters worse, the music was pretty bad as well. Again - worst theater show you'll ever see.

phil85 - I liked it for all of the reasons you hated it. Sweet. You must have been in row Q. After the intermission, everyone in the row had left except for 3 others and me. Thanks for the extra room to stretch my wings.
