One defensive suggestion for Johnson when guarding Kobe: feel free to yell "Help!" as often as needed.

Don't worry about upsetting Kobe as he's no MJ. While I don't have confidence in the Wolves would figure out that Kobe won't be passing the ball to stop him, it's not a bad strategy in general to piss him off. Kobe is at his worst when he tries too hard to take over the game.

Johnson is the next Kobe. Just kidding but if he can play like he has recently the Wolves could be a playoff team if Beasley stays healthy, Rubio comes as in good, KLove keeps it up and starts playing defense, and Darko and/or Pek figure it out

I'm happy with Johnson's play this year and I still think he has a lot of potential. He still has that wide eyed look about him that you see with a lot of rookies who are just happy to be in the NBA. I can understand that, I just hope by next year he starts to develop a hunger for winning and becoming a consistent dominant wing player.

This kid is progressing nicely in a very tough system. Rebuilding is a slow, painful process that I think this team enacting to perfection ( minus a bad draft ). Am I the only one eho found the irony in Curry torching us for 33 while Flynn is a constant non-factor? Too bad Flynn isn't progressing as nicely as Johnson! Go Wolves!

dlund, you need to grow up and stop being a hater. You don't know you're basketball. Just look at you're post. You don't know much about Kobe, and just repeating what other haters like you self have said. I have seen MJ play many, many times and he is no Kobe. Don't like that. Well, they are both alike and play alike and both deserve to be up among the greatest players. Remember, MJ can not walk on water.

Wow. It would be nice if Johnson developed that killer instinct that Kobe and Jordan had. Not holding my breath on that one though. But it is good that Johnson his looking to improve his game though. Good luck, Timberwolves.

Johnson sounds like all of the other nice kids on the team. When does this team stop being a collection of nice kids and play tough basketball? Is there anybody on the team that hates losing--I can't tell?

@ dtlund... you clearly know not of that in which you speak... Kobe is known for devastating teams when they make him mad... like, that's one of the things he's known for most. don't hate, buddy.
